Bliss MF Bloodlines
IT DOESN'T GET MUCH BETTER THAN THIS!
Bliss MF has extremely sought after bloodlines on both sides of his pedigree. Sire, Balou du Rouet, has it all. In Vechta (GER) 2002 Balou's excellent stallion performance test garnered him jumping marks of 9,5 and 10,0 by the international judges. Then in Vechta 2003 he got the 1C "Hauptprämie" at the stallion approval. This title is awarded to the four-and-a-half-year-old stallion, whose performance results, his own development as a breeding and performing stallion were as convincing as his first foal croup. At the foal-elite auction he sired the most expensive foal, Baltic King. The brown stallion was auctioned for € 19.000. In 2005 Balou caught everyone’s attention by scoring the highest mark of 9.2 at the national championships, making him one of Germany’s top 4 licensed stallions. Balou du Rouet emphasizes his dominant quality as a producer in type, elegance and movement, with numerous foals at many different auctions. He continuously produces finalists for the German foal championships. Offspring of Balou du Rouet have been approved at almost every stallion licensing. His number of approved sons has amounted to over sixty stallions. Balou du Rouet's sire is Baloubet du Rouet - Gold Medalist at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens and an incredible three-time World Cup Champion – is one of the most successful jumping stallions in the world. His grand sire Galoubet is a son of the great stallion Almé and was already an international success at the young age of seven. He won team gold in 1982 at the World Championships. On the dam’s side, Balou du Rouet is directly related to the founder of the bloodline, Cor de la Bryere, from Holstein through Rantzau xx. The offspring of the dam’s sire, Continue, achieved lifetime earnings of over € 230.000. Numerous licensed stallions are descendants from this dam line. Balou du Rouet gained marks up to 10.0 in his 30-day test, Balou du Rouet successfully competed at the 1.50m level.
Balou du Rouet is currently #8 on the FN Sire list which is based on money won by offspring.
Bliss MF is out of Ornella, whose sire is Argentinus. Argentinus was the Hanoverian Stallion of the Year in 2005. The Argentan x Duden II-son is a first-class breeding stallion with an international reputation that is well known around the world. His offspring are not only successful jumpers, but also excellent dressage horses. Because of his sire Argentan, the Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 1994, and his dam’s sire Duden II, he carries valuable and successful Hanoverian bloodlines. This is the Hanoverian stallion who led the FN statistics in his age group for the amount of prize money earned by his off-spring for an astounding seven years. He is a true genius when it comes to passing on desirable traits. Only very few stallions have sired high performance horses that reached international level not only in dressage but in jumping as well. But for Argentinus, this was common place. In 1996, the son of the Celle stallion, Argentan I, became Germany's youngest millionaire measured by the prize money his off-spring won. Successful in advanced level jumping himself, this imposing sire has produced 40 approved sons and 148 State Premium mares. Horses such as the Oldenburg, Albano, who won team gold at the 2001 European Championships in dressage with Heike Kemmer, Isabell Werth's two-time German Champion in dressage, Amaretto, who unfortunately died too early, or Autogramm, ridden by Thomas Mühlbauer, who participated in 10 Nation Cups - all of these and many more are examples of the willingness to perform that Argentinus gave to his off-spring. Expressed in numbers: his children have earned more than three million D-Mark which comes to approximately 1.5 million Euros.
Ornella is out of Ostia who is by Swedish bred Oldenburg stallion Pik Trumpf. Her grandsire is the outstanding Celle State stallion Pik Konig who also sired the Dressage legend, Pik Bube.
